Responsibilities
Responsible for development, testing, documentation and maintenance of cutting edge custom based web solutions for our clients.
Build systems and components based on provided requirements.
Responsible for all development tasks within assigned projects.
Identify and report development status and issues to senior developers and project managers in a timely manner.
Contribute to the Velir development community through internal presentations, blog posts, and suggestions for improving development practices.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent course.
2-5 years of C based languange experience using C#, C and C++.
SQL proficient; handling complex, nested and recursive queries.
Experience with any CMS.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Development knowledge to make day to day development decisions without assistance.
Strong command of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
Ability to debug and find problems within existing systems.
Increase knowledge of application level design and development.
Detail-oriented, motivated, results-driven self-starter that takes initiative.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal as well as good interpersonal skills.
